Positive Pay

Positive Pay is a service to combat check fraud. Harrington Bank will pay only those items with serial numbers and dollar amounts that match a file issued by your company in advance.

• As you issue checks, you provide us an electronic file with your information
• As your checks are presented for payment, our system compares each check to your issued file
• Any items not matching the check number or amount provided in the uploaded file are not paid unless you specifically authorize them
